Award-winning Hawaiian "slack key" guitarist Jim "Kimo" West presents a very special Christmas show, bringing an infusion of aloha to your holiday season! Some very special guests will be joining Kimo and there will be enchanting hula by the lovely Amanda Taketa. Kimo will be performing selections from his Na Hoku Hanohano nominated CD, "Kimo's Hawaiian Slack Key Christmas" and premiering some new compositions and arrangements.

Kimo is also known as long-time guitarist for the world’s most successful musical satirist, “Weird Al” Yankovic/ Contributing to his talents are many Grammy-winning CD’s, tours and TV appearances, as well as many performances on Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon, etc. The enchanting sound of “ki ho’alu” as it is known in Hawaii is heard throughout the recent Oscar-winning movie " The Descendants”.

He is a recent winner of the Hawaii Music Awards, a Na Hoku Hanohano (the Hawaiian “Grammy”) nominee and a two-time winner of the LA Treasures Award for his contributions toward the perpetuation of ki ho’alu.
