The celebration of the 30-acre Wilmington Waterfront Park will feature entertainment, games, park tours and free lunch. The new park is approximately nine city blocks and nearly doubles the amount of existing public open space in Wilmington.

I am so proud that the Port is beautifying Wilmington as much as it is. This is a lasting legacy that will benefit generations of Wilmingtonians (?). Thank you for stepping up and improving this long-neglected neighborhood.
