Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s “Meet the Grunion” Hottest Ticket in Town

The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium was definitely THE place to be last night as locals and folks from all over the southland flocked to the beach in droves to witness the annual Grunion Run and take part in the Aquarium’s popular “Meet the Grunion” event. The program began at 9:00 pm with a short film about the Grunion and then everyone headed down to the beach to await the spectacle that would be carried in on the high tide. I just wanted to say what a well coordinated effort the Fire Dept, Police & Harbor Police made today when they rescued a woman who slipped and fell off the trail at Pt. Fermin. Hopefully she is going to be alright. Great job to all involved!
