Profile Information

I'm a San Pedro
Newbie
Who referred you to the SanPedroNewsPilot.com?
Google.
My place to eat in San Pedro
Home, alas.
My favorite San Pedro celebrity
The two wooly mammoth cranes.
My place to grab a drink in San Pedro
Again, home.
My place to shop in San Pedro
The little unassuming furniture reseller next to the pawn shop on Pacific that has platinum disguised as costume jewelry. Go there. @6th or 7th not sure.
A little about me
I'm new here. Not sure why I'm here, other than I was looking for somewhere near water that was not in Orange County but within driving (or swimming) distance of it.

I think I moved to Fort Knox. Oddly, there seems to be very little security, other than the ingenious tactic of hiding in Los Angeles as Purgatory em route to nowhere.
My San Pedro hangout
Knolls, water. etc. I freelance as a troll.
My San Pedro secret
The Iowa is actually an antimagnet.

Curmudgeon Corner - Teens Will Lose Out

My Thoughts for February 22, 2015You’re going to love this one.  Yesterday this ole curmudgeon actually made a date with the wife to go to lunch together.  I was excited (she said yes), she was excited and off we went both babbling like it was our first date.  Wow!  When we got to the restaurant we decided to eat in the bar section; less noise and no crying kids.  I know that sounds a bit cold but after driving school bus and a hundred kids twice a day it feels relaxing to sit in a kid free…See More

February 28, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm
Fresh out of college, Barbara H. Clark arrived in Los Angeles in the 50's lookingforward to a bright future. Delighting in the newly discovered paradise of sunshine andswimming pools, she was immediately at home. She loved the sights, the sounds, thepeople.
