PORT OF LOS ANGELES SET TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF ‘GHOST FISH’ WATERFRONT PROJECT
The “Ghost Fish” sculpture, a 40-foot blue fin tuna hung from a galvanized steel frame over the water at Berth 73 near Sampson Way, will incorporate aluminum and glass cast objects and artifacts gathered from local fishermen. Port of Los Angeles Plans Expansion according to the Journal of Commerce
The Journal of Commerce is reporting that the LA-Long Beach Ports Plan Expansion and "move aggressively to protect market share as economy recovers."
The journal reports that the port of Los Angeles is expanding its China Shipping and TraPac container terminals and says expansion projects to follow will most likely be the APL facility, Yang Ming Marine Transportation and Yusen Terminals.
