Port Of Los Angeles High Softball Wins First CIF-Los Angeles City Section Championship!

PORT OF LOS ANGELES SET TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF ‘GHOST FISH’ WATERFRONT PROJECT

The “Ghost Fish” sculpture, a 40-foot blue fin tuna hung from a galvanized steel frame over the water at Berth 73 near Sampson Way, will incorporate aluminum and glass cast objects and artifacts gathered from local fishermen. SOMETHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN: WELCOME BACK SAN PEDRO NEWS PILOT

In the summer of 1994, as a journalism student and wannabe photographer at El Camino College in Torrance, I made a photograph that was published on the front page of the local newspaper.



The photo was of the 10-foot statue of Mary which is mounted on top of the Mary Star of the Sea tower, her arms outstretched toward the Port of Los Angeles.
