I am looking for a forever home for Kitty, who is approximately a year old. He is a grey shorthair. He has gone from owner to shelter to owner to owner and I just want him to settle in a permanent home. He is a very sweet cat and does not deserve the bad luck he has had.
My neighbor adopted him when he was a red listed kitten from the Harbor Shelter in San Pedro. My neighbor became pregnant and so she encouraged Kitty to stay outdoors, which I did not approve of. He came to me for attention and it got to the point where I became his second owner. My neighbor moved out and left him behind so I am fostering him.
I would love to adopt him but he is a high energy, mischievous, playful cat and I cannot keep up with him. I am only used to adult cats. Also, he teases other cats. I think Kitty would be better off as a primary cat. He enjoys the company of men and women but he has to get to know you. He avoids strangers. I don’t know about children, he has very little expose to them.
He prefers to be an outdoor cat during the day and indoors overnight. Major plus if you have a single family home with a decent sized garden. He has been litter box trained though currently he is doing his business outdoors. He is very vocal and will tell you if he wants food, attention, or to be indoors or outdoors. He likes to sleep with you on your bed. He will show his affection for you by licking you. He would be good for somebody that wants attention from a cat and vice versa.
He loves toys, catnip, watching birds, catching insects and has proved himself to be a good mouser.
He has been checked by the vet, is up to date on shots, neutered and comes with an Avid microchip. I will give you the microchip’s number so you can transfer it into your name. The chip is currently in my name. He is a light eater and I am currently feeding him Friskies wet and dry food.
Kitty will cost $25 to adopt and this fee will cover my expenses
Serious enquiries please.
