First 100 Days in Office
On Thursday May 10, 2012, I was proud to mark my first 100 days in office.
Celebrating the occasion, we put out one of our trademark videos, a compilation of clips and photos from the 55 videos on my YouTube channel – YouTube.com/JoeBuscaino – which have received over 30,000 views in the short I have been in office.
Elected officials, the public, the media, and scholars have been using the first 100 days as a gauge of presidential success and activism since Franklin D. Roosevelt pioneered the 100-day concept when he took office in 1933. He was faced with the calamity of the Depression—and he moved with unprecedented dispatch to address the problem.
