POLA Softball Advances To Second Straight CIF-LACS Small Schools Final

The Port Of Los Angeles High softball team pulls off a 9-0 victory over visiting Vaughn of San Fernando in the CIF-Los Angeles City Section Small Schools semifinals to advance to their second straight championship game. Nicolle Miranda pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts, including here on this last batter. Brianna Grayson finished 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and 2 RBIs. Allison Bayer belted a two-run home run in the third inning, Reanna Rivera stroked an RBI-single in the second inning, and Kelsea Short added a two-run double in the fifth inning. Miranda was also 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple and an RBI for the Polar Bears.
