Event Description

Coming November 14th at 7:30 PM the 7 piece New Orleans funk band, Porterhouse Bob and Down to the Bone, will be performing at a magical event; Alvas Showroom in San Pedro. We did this one night event two years ago and it was one of those evenings I will always remember. Tickets are limited (80 max) and are by reservation only. Everyone in the audience is seated on the sound stage with the band. Professional l ighting, sound engineering and BYOB. Being so close to the artists, the viewer literally feels like a participant in the live performance.
Our last show at Alvas was a sell-out and we danced and laughed and all sang together...we even marched together out into the streets at the end of the show. Very special and I hope you will join us and make it all happen again. Make your reservations now.
Alvas is in San Pedro at 1417 W. Eighth Street, San Pedro, CA 90732. Parking is easy. To make reservations, you go to http://www.alvasshowroom.com/calendar.php . Then click on November 14th "Porterhouse Bob" and you can reserve your tickets. Tickets are $20 and includes a free CD for every couple ordering two tickets. We will also have or new CD "The Best of Porterhouse Bob" available for $10.00.

The band will include musicians from Elton John, Ray Charles, Manhattan Transfer, Christopher Cross, Brian Setzer, Papa John Creech, Dr. John and Elvis Presley.
