Event Description

Experience the magic of the sea aboard LA's Official Tall Ships - the Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson.  Sail the Los Angeles Harbor and points beyond, and meet a host of wildlife along the way!

Kids will have a blast searching for plastic eggs filled with surprises and learn about the ship at the same time.  Adults can sit back and relax or get hands-on with the crew... your choice!

Please wear soft-soled shoes; layered clothing recommended.  Food and beverages are allowed on board the vessel.

These low-cost public sails are offered as a community service by Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) to introduce kids of all ages to the TopSail Youth Program and the art of sailing.  Founded in 1992, LAMI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth development organization based in San Pedro.

$30 per person

$25 per person for groups of 5 or more
