As you drive through San Pedro and surrounding neighborhoods you may have encountered skateboarders racing down our street and blocking traffic. There has been an increase of this issue which has angered drivers and worried residents. I am greatly saddened to learn of the death of San Pedro resident Steve Saggiani, killed tragically Thursday evening, while performing his duties as a longshoreman at the Port of Long Beach. U.S. Postage Rate Increase Effective Monday, January 22, 2012

On January 22, 2012 the U.S. Postal Service® will implement a postage rate increase for all mail classes including First Class Mail®, Priority Mail and Express Mail along with many special services.

Summary of the 2012 USPS postage rate increase:
