Event Description

Meet author and artist Christopher Dewees, internationally recognized master of Gyotaku, as he shares his 50-year journey perfecting the Japanese art of fish printing.

4 p.m. – Free talk by Christopher Dewees in the John M. Olguin Auditorium

5 p.m. – Book signing by the author in the CMA Gift Shop

5 p.m. – Reception for existing members, with an opportunity for new members to join

6 p.m. – Master Gyotaku class led by Dewees. Participants will create a beautiful print to take home. (Free for Members - space is limited to 40 participants.)
