Event Description

The Gonzalo Bergara Quartet has charmed fans worldwide with its fiery and focused unique sound- a jazzy blend with an Argentinean flair. Heavily influenced by the Django Reinhardt/ Hot Club of France style, the music has been described as a new kind of Gypsy Jazz by Vintage Guitar. The group's album, Porteña Soledad, was the editor's pick in Guitar Player Magazine and the quartet was named Djangofest '09 Artist of the Year. With guitar, clarinet, and a honed rhythm section, this "blazing quartet" brings the Hot Club to San Pedro!
