Event Description

In celebration of performing 100,000 spay/neuter surgeries in Los Angeles County, Spay Neuter Project of Los Angeles (SNP LA) will host an open house to raise awareness about the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering pets.

SNP LA Chairman of the Board Charles Bradley will welcome guests and introduce Medical Director Katie Marrie, D.V.M., who will give a short speech outlining spay/neuter benefits.

Throughout the afternoon, tours of the clinic will be available and prizes will be given away to attendees, including certificates for free spay/neuter surgeries, pet gift baskets and free subscriptions to Netflix.

SNP LA, with the help of partner Found Animals, is working to ensure that spay and neuter services are affordable and accessible to all pet owners in the Los Angeles area.

Spay neuter helps reduce shelter intake, ultimately supporting lower euthanasia rates in Los Angeles County, rates that are currently at 54%.

Spaying/neutering also ensures lifelong health benefits, including lowering the risk of cancer and improving behavior.

SNP LA provides high-quality, low-cost spay and neuter services to underserved communities in the Los Angeles area. Found Animals, a Los Angeles-based non-profit animal welfare organization, is a partner of SNP LA.
