Join Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) for four days of fun on the LA Waterfront! Tall Ship Adventure Camp includes a morning dockside activity followed by an afternoon sail in San Pedro Bay aboard LA's Official Tall Ships, the Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson. Designed for youth 12-17, each day of camp builds upon the other, but youth have the option of attending single days or all four days at a discounted rate. Dockside learning activities include:
We hope to see you at the first muster! (You'll learn what this means on the first day of camp.)
Full details can be found on LAMI's website at:

LAMI's public sailing events are offered as a community service to raise awareness about the benefits of "real world" opportunities where students can apply academic learning in meaningful and relevant ways. LAMI's Tall Ships provide unparalleled access to coastal ecosystems in addition to introducing students to the art of sailing. All proceeds directly support the TopSail Youth Program offered year-round to underserved youth in San Pedro, Wilmington and throughout Los Angeles.
