Event Description

Join Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) for an unforgettable Family Adventure as we join the Port of Los Angeles in celebrating Holidays by the Sea at the new Downtown Public Square at Harbor Blvd. and Sixth Street. Enjoy an afternoon sail and then return to the Downtown Square for a spectacular light show and a classic film projected on our ship's sails. (Visit www.LAWaterfront.org for movie times.)

$40 Children 12 & under

LAMI members receive a 10% discount.

Proceeds directly benefit the TopSail Youth Program.

Public sailing events are offered as a community service to raise awareness about our educational programs, the environment, and the art of sailing. Public sails encourage families to get outdoors and sail on the Official Tall Ships of Los Angeles, the twin brigantines Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson, docked year-round in San Pedro.
