Event Description

Maral Malikyar (of Maral Designs in Downtown San Pedro) in association with the San Pedro Convention & Visitors Bureau, is kicking off the summer with her second annual fashion show at the Croatian Cultural Center. In addition to showcasing her fashion selections, Maral's show will present

  • music and dance by the Silk Road Music & Dance School
  • tastings of Afghan and other foods provided by some of San Pedro's finest restaurants
  • art and jewelry crafted by local artisans

Doors open at 2pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Maral at 310-418-0109. Proceeds will benefit Afghani women and children through the Khaled Hosseini Foundation and Harbor Interfaith.
