The San Pedro Convention & Visitors Bureau will conduct two volunteer training program Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Croatian Cultural Center, 510 West 7^th St., San Pedro.

            The program covers SPCVB’s procedures, volunteer opportunities, and basic information about the Harbor area’s history and geography to enable volunteers to answer visitors’ frequently asked questions. The second part of the training focuses on maritime knowledge and terminology and information about the Port of Los Angeles.

            There is no charge for the training and a light lunch will be provided.
