- Born 1961.
Grew up on Barrywood Ave behind what was once DiCarlo's Bakery. My parents were one of the first occupants in the housing track. Went to Taper Ave, Dodson JHS, and then San Pedro HS.
Used to deliver the News Pilot when I was in the 7th grade. My paper route was the area north of Westmont Drive up to the old Navy housing track.
Lived in Redondo Beach for a dozen years but have since returned. I live in what was once San Pedro but they call it Rancho Palos Verdes. It's still San Pedro to me, Pedro for life!
