Andrew Mortz Saves The 2005 Marine League Crown For SP Football!

With San Pedro High football nursing a 29-25 lead with just over a minute to go, Andrew Mortz would jump in front of a pass thrown by Narbonne's Evian Grigsby and seal the win with his first career interception, and the Pirates held on for the victory to claim an outright Marine League championship in front of a standing-room only crowd at the Pirate Stadium on November 10, 2005. This was also San Pedro's Homecoming game that year.
