The San Pedro High School football team makes its way onto the field at Venice High School for the 2012 CIF-Los Angeles City Section Division I quarterfinals. The Pirates fell short, 27-24, which ended their season at 8-4 overall, placing third in the Marine League. Yet, the Pirates still managed some great things, defeating Harbor Area neighbor Banning of Wilmington for the fifth straight season, and coach Mike Walsh got his 200th career win in the season finale. San Pedro also won three games by shutout.
