Mary Star High Softball 2012 Wins Second Straight Camino Real League Title

The Mary Star High softball team wraps up a second straight Camino Real League championship with a 5-1 win over visiting Cantwell Sacred Heart of Montebello on Monday, May 7, 2012 at the San Pedro Softball Complex. Emily Demers fields the ground ball and fires to first base for the out and the Stars shake hands with the Cardinals after sealing up the win. Marina Vitalich finished with a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts, while Alyssa Gutierrez, Alina Rivas, Veronica Webb and Devyon Matherly all brought in a run with a single for Mary Star.
