The Port Of Los Angeles High softball team shakes hands with visiting Los Angeles High after defeating the Romans, 9-4 in a nonleague game. Tiffany Mercado went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and a run scored, while Kelsea Short clubbed a two-run homer that broke a 4-4 tie in the fifth inning. Nicolle Miranda earned the win pitching four innings of relief for a two-hitter and 8 strikeouts for the Polar Bears.
