The Port Of Los Angeles High softball team shakes hands with Salpointe Catholic of Tuscon, Arizona after defeating the Lancers, 8-1, in a Torrance TNT Tournament pool play game at Wilson Park. Kelsea Short went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, 2 RBIs and three runs scored for the Polar Bears. Nicolle Miranda pitched a five-hitter with 6 strikeouts while going 2-for-4 hitting with a home run, 3 RBIs and two runs scored. Sarah Maldonado, Brianna Grayson and Briana Valencia all had two hits each for POLA.
