SPHS Boys Volleyball 2013 Advances To LACS Semifinals

The San Pedro High boys volleyball team, after a strange lengthy debate following a tip attempt for the final point, was able to hold off host Carson, 21-25, 25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 15-13 in a CIF-Los Angeles City Section Division I quarterfinal match from Thursday, May 10, 2013. Once the Pirates were awarded match point, a lively celebration ensued as they advanced to the semifinals with their second win over their Marine League rivals.
