San Pedro High JV Football Finally Beats Palos Verdes

On Thursday, September 16, 2010, the San Pedro High JV football team was finally able to overcome Palos Verdes, shutting out the Sea Kings, 13-0 to garner their first win in school history over their Hill nemesis on the junior varsity level. Nick Johnson threw a touchdown pass to Johnnie Purvis, and Joshua Marshall sco...red the second TD off a reverse, both coming in the third quarter. The defense of the Pirates recovered two fumbles, and intercepted two passes to clinch the shutout.
