The San Pedro High boys basketball team shakes hands with visiting Vaughn of San Fernando after defeating the Tigers, 71-56 in the first round of the Pirate Shootout Tournament. Quincy Thomas had 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals, Kenny Potter had 10 points and 7 assists, while Desmond Taylor had 10 points and 7 rebounds for the Pirates.
