The San Pedro High football team shakes hands with visiting Crenshaw of Los Angeles after defeating the Cougars, 31-7 in a CIF-Los Angeles City Section Division I quarterfinal game. Kenny Potter ran for 102 yards on eight carries and a touchdown for the Pirates, while completing 3-of-6 passes for 105 yards and a 72-yard touchdown pass to Keaton Accetta. Darrell Santiago ran for 81 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown, Jamel Best recovered a fumble in the end zone for another score, and Christian Gonzalez booted in a 40-yard field goal for San Pedro.
