The San Pedro High football team shakes hands with visiting Locke of Los Angeles after defeating the Saints, 55-20 in a nonleague game. Kenny Potter ran for three short TDs while throwing a 15-yard touchdown pass to Michael Whitt, who also returned a kickoff 85 yards for another score. Jamel Best also scored twice, on a 13-yard run and a 62-yard fumble return for the Pirates, who forced four Locke turnovers. Whitt and Keaton Accetta both had an interception.
