SP Girls Volleyball Rallies To Survive Scare And Edge Banning In 2011

Down two games to one, the San Pedro High girls volleyball team was on the verge of being upset by host Banning of Wilmington in a 2011 Marine League game, but the Pirates battled back to win the match, 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16, 15-11, denying the Pilots from gaining their first win over San Pedro in school history on Wednesday, September 28.
