SP Softball Becomes The Dominant City Section Program In 2007

In 2007, San Pedro High softball was tied with El Camino Real of Woodland Hills for the most CIF-Los Angeles City Section championships won with 13, but once Brittney Banania fielded a ground ball and threw to first base to close out their 1-0 win over Kennedy of Granada Hills, the Pirates became the City's most successful program, and ended the 2007 season with a 30-2 record, winning their last 23 games in a row.
