SP Softball Completes 'Drive For Five' Championship Journey In 2004!

Here's the final out of San Pedro High softball clinching their fifth straight CIF-Los Angeles City Section championship with a 2-0 win over rival Carson in the 2004 finals. Watch the celebration unfold as Jackie Conlin fields the ground ball... Ashley Esparza and Nicole Castagnola, two seniors on this team, finished their high school careers as four-time champions. Esparza later starred for four years at Penn State.
