SPHS Boys Cross-Country Wins 2013 CIF-LACS Championship

The San Pedro High boys cross-country team celebrates after realizing they won their sixth CIF-Los Angeles City Section championship at Pierce College at Woodland Hills. The Pirates finished with 66 points, outdistancing second-place Santee of Los Angeles who finished with 85. Steve Correa finished first in the race to claim the individual City title, Charlie Nettle (4th place) and Manny Vargas (7th) also finished in the top ten for San Pedro. This is the school's 54th overall City Section sports title.
