SPHS Softball Postgame Handshake vs. Gardena (4-16-2012)

The San Pedro High softball team shakes hands with visiting Gardena after a Marine League doubleheader, with the Pirates winning 15-0 in 6 innings, then winning 24-0 in 5 innings. Katrina Herrera went 3-for-3 with a double and 5 RBIs in the first game, while Michelle Corona went 5-for-5 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs in the second game. Also in Game 2, Taylor Richter went 4-for-4 with 3 doubles, a triple and 5 RBIs for the Pirates. Johnie Cortez also went 4-for-5 with 4 RBIs in the second game for San Pedro.
