It's time to party for youth education at sea! Join Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) for a family gala that captures the spirit of our mission. Our Cruise-in-Company event is designed to get families out on the water to experience Adventure Education firsthand. Your support will help raise awareness about the benefits of "real world" opportunities aboard Tall Ships where students enjoy academic learning in exciting and relevant ways. 

Our educational sailing vessels, Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson, provide unparalleled access to coastal ecosystems in addition to introducing students to the art and science of sailing. Learning comes to life aboard our tall ships in a highly interactive environment that equips youth with the problem solving and leadership skills to succeed in any industry or life path. 

All proceeds from the event will benefit the TopSail Youth Program and keep our extraordinary program afloat for underserved youth in San Pedro and Wilmington, and throughout Los Angeles County.

While adults party aboard the M/V Spirit, youth will board our Twin Brigantines and become part of the crew for an afternoon of outrageous FUN. 

Adult ticket is $75 and includes delicious hors d'oeuvres, our signature cocktail (The Brigantini), and a no host bar.

For every two tickets purchased, one youth sails on the tall ship! Plus, youth have the option of staying overnight on the tall ship (dockside) for an additional $50.
