Event Description

Muller House Museum's First Sunday Series program "Vintage Fabric Care 101" is a crash course in the identification, preservation, display and storage of antique textiles presented by costume designer Kara McLeod. Kara has been an instructor of costume history at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) for 10 years and member of the entertainment industry for 28 years. Feel free to bring in your own textile treasure for a consult with this remarkable expert in the field.  Museum and Gift Shop open at 1 PM, program begins at 1:30 PM. Free, but donations welcome.
