January 19, 2013 the Harbor Community Clinic of San Pedro will be having a Grand Reopening. Invitations have already been sent out for the event which will take place at 593 West 6^th Street in San Pedro at 4:00 P.M. After operating in limited space for over 3 years the clinic remodel is complete and has grown from 7 exam rooms to 11. The new space also allows the Harbor Community Clinic Counseling Resource Center to grow and operate during regular business hours in an additional 6 consult rooms.

The remodel has allowed the clinic to better utilize its existing space and increase clinic capacity to better serve the working poor and underinsured in the Los Angeles County. By improving access to health care the management of minor, chronic or acute conditions prevents them from becoming worse or life threatening.

The additional space will also give Harbor Community Clinic the opportunity to provide more community health education via classes, seminars and presentations.
