Award-winning Croatian playwright pens this poignant and playful exploration of our need for connection.

After Marko’s girlfriend leaves him, he signs up for the chance to test the latest in companionship - an android doll. Beautiful, smart, and completely without moods, the doll is the perfect solution! From the moment she is unwrapped, Stella goes about teaching him how lonely life is with “virtual” happiness. This playful comedy from one of Croatia’s leading playwrights shows us that no matter how much pleasure and order our 21st century gadgets provide, nothing can truly replace human communication. By the same playwright as LFT’s 2009 sellout production, “My Wife’s Husband.”
