Event Description

The Soroptimists of the Los Angeles Harbor are holding their  annual fundraiser for breast cancer research and prevention at the Croatian Cultural Center on Friday March 16. Proceeds benefit the Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro Mammography Unitand other causes which improve the status of women and girls. The Soroptimist Mammography Fund provides free screening mammograms and follow-up tests to women 40 years or older who are without insurance and who cannot qualify for Medi-Cal. 

Event highlights include an elegant draped model being sketched by local artists whose work will be auctioned, and the display and auction of decorated bras. Artists' works will also be for sale with 50% of proceeds going to What A Pair.
