This Earth Day, celebrate with Zhena Folk Chorus and special guests, Soul of Anatolia Turkish band. In authentic costume, Zhena brings to life the hauntingly beautiful folk songs of Eastern Europe. Hear traditional and arranged folk songs from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Romania and Turkey.
Zhena is proud to present precious endangered songs from Chornobyl, Ukraine at this event.
Zhena has performed throughout Los Angeles with concerts at the Getty, the World Festival of Sacred Music and the Music Center's Holiday Celebration. In addition to their own recordings, Zhena Folk Chorus can be heard on the select Sound Traditions cd, Profiles of World Musicians in Southern California.
