A very proud Mom
- My name is Joanna Hatcher-Valenza, I am the proud parent of a beautiful daughter named Jamie-Lyn. I am writing in to brag and make known to her family and friends, in San Pedro, of all of her accomplishments in her achedemic studies. She is now in 10th grade and studies in drama, choir, art and is taking her 8th year of piano. Besides the fun stuff, she has gotten, 2 signed Presidential Awards, one from President Bush, and the other from President Obama, was chosen by The United States Honor Roll Society 2 times and has made top 400 in the United States for her excellent grades. Since then, she was invited to go to Austrailia last summer with the People to People Ambassadors Program and had the time of her life with some wonderful opportunities and many experiences in the Austrailian cultures. She was also chosen to attend a 4 day workshop with the Young Leaders State Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma last summer. Now, as of last week, she received an invitation to go to Washington D.C. as alumni with the Young Leaders State Conference for their 50th Anniversary with a lot of very important people of congressional stature. I am so excited for her! She will go far! She has been and will be admonished in the years ahead of her hard work and She will know it was well worth her effort. She is my pride and my joy and I am so very, very proud of her always!!! Jamie, I Love You So Very Much!!!! Sincerely A Very Proud Mom
