Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s “Meet the Grunion” Hottest Ticket in Town

The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium was definitely THE place to be last night as locals and folks from all over the southland flocked to the beach in droves to witness the annual Grunion Run and take part in the Aquarium’s popular “Meet the Grunion” event. The program began at 9:00 pm with a short film about the Grunion and then everyone headed down to the beach to await the spectacle that would be carried in on the high tide. Families came armed with flashlights and fishermen of all ages kept an eye on the surf as children frolicked on the sand under the beautiful moonlight. What a great experience!
