Knabe Commemorates San Pedro Art Association's 75th Anniversary

Supervisor Don Knabe honored San Pedro Art Association President John Stinson; and Vice President Steve Magee at today’s Board of Supervisors meeting. The San Pedro Art Association is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.

In 1936, the San Pedro Art Association was formed by a small group of local artists to bring together creative people with similar interests within the harbor area community. Throughout the years, the Association has provided harbor area artists an opportunity to work together, learn from one another, and exhibit their work.

San Pedro Arts Association’s projects include the Harry Bridges 100th Birthday Celebration “Harbor Art Walk”; collaborative art exhibits; and outreach and education to local schools and students.
