Lisbeth Scott and Nathan Barr of True Blood come to San Pedro's Warner Grand for Golden State orchestra concert

Fright Night concert, an annual tradition.

On Saturday, October 29 at 8 pm, the Warner Grand Theatre will come alive with a chilling program, conducted by our own Maestro-Steven Allen Fox - featuring Phantasia, a fantasy based on The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Prelude, Opus 666, a collection of music from horror favorites including Psycho, Nightmare on Elm Street and Sweeney Todd (arranged by GSPO Music Director Victor Pesavento), music from True Blood by Nathan Barr and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain.

Lisbeth Scott, the original soundtrack vocalist for True Blood, is one of the most recognized voices in Hollywood - Avatar, Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Iron Man 2. Composer Austin Wintory will also join Ms. Scott on the stage to conduct an original work titled Boxes of Earth, composed for her and based on some of their previous collaborations.

VIP Tickets include Valet Parking and the After Concert Reception to be held at the Blu Restaurant and Lounge in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at 601 South Palos Verdes Street.

The Waterfront Trolley will be shuttling patrons to the Warner Grand from the following area parking lots until midnight:

  • 5th and Palos Verdes
  • 7th and Centre
  • 6th and Mesa
  • 6th and Palos Verdes
  • Warner Grand Theatre
  • Berth 76 (Ports O'Call Restaurant)
  • and the Maritime Museum
