San Pedro hosts largest skate festival in California Saturday - San Pedro Shred


LARGEST SKATE FESTIVAL IN CALIFORNIA THIS SATURDAY IN SAN PEDRO

WHAT: Hundreds of skateboarders and thousands of spectators will participate in the second annual San Pedro Shred Festival of Skate in San Pedro this Saturday. The festival includes two downhill courses, a street course, six bands including Mike Watt, food trucks and giveaways. Here is video of the inaugural event last year: http://youtu.be/dE2qsN8HfLw

In Memoriam: Joan Marie Wainwright, Dec.11, 1929, to July 3, 2023

Joan Marie Wainwright died peacefully on July 3, 2023, just after sunrise surrounded by her family. In the weeks prior to her death, she acknowledged that her only remaining ailment was old age, having battled chronic pain for most of her adult life.
