With the holiday season approaching, San Pedro is coming together to ensure a supply of toys when Santa comes to town
The San Pedro Convention & Visitors Bureau, Kiwanis Club of San Pedro, and Downtown Merchants have launched their annual toy drive. Toys will be distributed throughout the Harbor area communities until Christmas.
“Because of the economic challenges we face, the need for toys is greater than ever. Our community has come together for these children so well in the past and we’re counting on that generosity again,” said Tim McDannold, Kiwanis Lt. Gov. for Division 19, California-Nevade-Hawaii District.
Donation boxes are located at a number of businesses throughout the town, and especially in Downtown San Pedro.
Key locations where the toy collection boxes are located include:
Croatian Cultural Center, 510 West 7th Street (open during events only)
Whale & Ale British Restaurant & Gastropub, 327 West 7th Street 310-832-0363
Mishi’s Strudel Bakery & Café, 315 West. 7th Street 310- 832-6474
