The Derby Gals Gear Up for Debut Bout at Crafted at the Port of LA

On Saturday, September 14th the Derby Gals will play their much anticipated third bout of the season in their brand new space at Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles (Warehouse 10, 112 E 22nd St, Los Angeles, CA 90731). Titled "Mama Said Knock You Bout", the game will pit Gallagher's Breakwater Bombshells against the Pike Restaurant's Cyclone Racers.

This bout brings a huge roster change for both teams as they showcase their newest, up-and-coming roller derby stars! No one knows which team has the upper hand. Although the Bombshells are undefeated, the Cyclones are ready to come back with a vengeance.  This is sure to be an exciting event thanks to the infusion of fresh bloodThe newest team members have risen through the ranks of the rigorous training program and are ready to debut their talents in this big game.

To add to the excitement, the Derby Gals are showcasing their new home at Crafted Warehouse 10, 112 E 22nd St, Los Angeles, CA 9073. They havetransformed this one-of-a-kind 1940's warehouse into an all out roller derby facility. The league recently hosted an open house and roller disco at Crafted which was a fun filled day of roller skating for 6 hours of roller disco fun for adults and kids. Food trucks, cotton candy, rental skates, and awesome disco music, The Derby Gals roller disco was a success with over 500 people in attendance.  The Gals will be scheduling more community events like this so stay tuned for further details.

The Derby Gal's beautifully restored warehouse home is part of a port of Los Angeles renovation project and is also home to a craft fair market in one third of the building space. There is plenty of parking at the facility and there will be a preferred parking available for $8. In addition to the amazing game there will be a post-game performance by Sirena Serpentina fire dancers. Long beach favorite DJ Almighty Nectar will be keeping the beat all night long.Half-time festivities will feature food trucks and live performance by favorite local band the D*Maggs
 
The Derby Gals hold some of the best events around and we are looking forward to seeing another great game.  Tickets are available for only $15 at LongBeachDerbyGals.com. There are no VIP or preferred tickets for this game. There will be no chairs at the venue but the first 200 fans that bring their own fold up or beach chairs will be allowed in early to set up their chairs around the track. Doors open at 6pm for fans who have chairs. Regular standing room will enter at 6:30.
