POLAHS Softball 2013 Wins Third Straight CIF-LACS Title!

The Port Of Los Angeles High softball team defeats Northridge Academy 16-3 to win the 2013 CIF-Los Angeles City Section Small Schools Division Championship at Cal State University, Dominguez Hills on Saturday, May 25. Nicolle Miranda hurled a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts while going 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Polar Bears. Allison Bayer went 3-for-5 with two doubles, 2 RBIs and three runs scored, while Savana Ramirez also went 3-for-5 with a double, 4 RBIs and two runs scored for POLA. Rosemary Garcia went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored. Here's the final out of the game, and the celebration that followed.
