Are you ready for summer in San Pedro??

The Port of Los Angeles has planned a great number of summer events this year to entertain and delight the entire family.



June 4th: Grand Opening of the 30-acre Wiomington Waterfront Park (10am-4pm)
The grand opening celebration will feature entertainment, games, park tours and free lunch. The new park is approximately nine city blocks and nearly doubles the amount of existing public open space in Wilmington.

June 23 - September 8: Thursday Evening concerts at the Fountain (7-9pm)
The free concert series will feature a different band and genre of music each week. The Gateway Plaza fanfare Fountain on Harbor Boulevard. (Concerts will not be held on San Pedro First Thursdays July 7, August 4, September 1)

July 1: 3rd Annual Cars & Stripes Forever! (5-11pm)
Kick off July 4th weekend with this popular classic car show featuring hundreds of classic cars and motorcycles. Live music, fountain show, food and beer garden at the Gateway Plaza Fanfare Fountain.

July 27-31 L.A. Navy Week
Three Navy ships will be in port and open to the public for tours.

August 5-7: Taste in San Pedro at the Port of L.A.
Held for the first time on the LA Waterfront at Ports O' Call Village will feature food from 30 local restaurants, wineries, breweries and merchants as well as live music, craft boths and children's activities. Visit www.tasteinsanpedro.com

September 16-18: Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival
The world's largest lobster festival at Ports O'Call Village.
